Put the required amount of mustard powder in a jar and gradually pour hot water there, mixing thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous consistency. Seal the jar and leave it in a warm place for 8-10 hours. During this time, the mustard precipitates, and essential oils come to the surface. If they are partially or completely drained, the mustard will be less spicy. Add salt, vinegar and sugar to the mustard, mix well and leave in the fridge for another couple of hours.
